On January 11, CMC President & CEO Tina Bennett provided a review of CMC’s performance last year and gave a preview of things to come for 2023 in a pair of Town Hall meetings. If you missed both sessions or want to review a recording, you can find it here: 2023_01_11_CMC Town Hall.mp4.
Thanks to those who asked questions during the Zoom calls and for all employees who completed the benefits survey that followed the Town Halls the next day. More than 80 percent of respondents to the Town Hall survey rated the event above a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being “liked very much.” See the word bubble we created below based on your responses to the question on the Town Hall survey that asked: What is your favorite winter activity?
One of the questions that we didn’t get to in the meeting was submitted by Jerel Williams, a customer care representative, who asked “What is the outlook for CMC for a renewal of the PECO portfolio contract.”
Here’s Bennett’s response via email: “Our current contract runs through the end of Phase IV (May 2026) in line with Pennsylvania’s ACT 129 Phase IV legislation. We have been working with PECO since 1991 and have built strong relationships and a deep partnership with them which has served us well. I recently spoke to a Senior Executive at PECO and she indicated that PECO is very happy with our performance and partnership. So, while nothing is guaranteed, I am confident that if we continue to perform at our best in line with our values of Doing it Right and Putting You before I, we will be successful in continuing our work with PECO in whatever form the next Phase of Act 129, or successor program may take.”
If you have any other questions, please ask your supervisor or send them to Tina Bennett.
