
Scott Beltz joined CMC Energy Services in March 2025 as the Director of Program Support. In this role, he focuses on identifying synergies, optimizing support structures, and ensuring comprehensive coverage across all programs. His efforts aim to enhance efficiency, foster collaboration, and provide every program with the resources needed to thrive.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations management, process improvement, and strategic execution across diverse industries — including energy and financial services — Scott has a proven track record of driving meaningful change.
As Director of Operations at Midland Credit Management, he led nationwide teams, harnessed technology to streamline processes, and achieved significant cost reductions while more than doubling collections performance. Previously, at DTE Energy, Scott spearheaded enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives that boosted efficiency and reduced operational costs.
Scott holds an MBA and an MS in Finance from the University of Michigan and a BS in Oceanography from the US Naval Academy. He is a Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. His passion for innovation and process excellence aligns with CMC Energy’s mission to drive sustainable energy practices. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his children, running half marathons across the country, and attending college sports with his children in Michigan (Go Blue!) or at his Alma Mater in Annapolis.
