Ben Altomari

Ben is the Senior Program Manager for CMC’s New Jersey Comfort Partners program, an energy saving and energy education program for income-qualified residential single and multi-family dwellings, as well as the New Jersey Clean Energy Program’s Direct Install initiative, which provides qualifying small to mid-sized commercial and industrial facilities with lighting, refrigeration and HVAC energy efficiency upgrades. Ben has held numerous supervisory and management positions within the company, contributing to the company’s quality assurance and field operations initiatives and, more recently, Associate Program Manager for the NJ office. During this time, he was instrumental in the creation and implementation of both CMC’s in-house weatherization and C&I direct install departments.

Before coming to CMC, Ben worked as an assistance trainer and BPI proctor for a non-profit green jobs training center in Trenton, NJ, as well as a resource development associate where he gained experience developing proposals for a diverse pool of foundations and government agencies.

Ben holds a bachelor’s degree from Moravian College, a master’s degree with a focus in International Community Development from Monmouth University, and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Ben also holds three BPI certifications – Building Analyst, Multfamily Building Analyst and Heating Professional.

Ben and his wife are proud new parents to a baby boy, Dominic. In his spare time, Ben enjoys traveling, fishing, kayaking and spending time with his family and two dogs.
