Prior to joining CMC, what did you know of energy efficiency or the industry?
Prior to CMC, I knew a little about energy efficiency, mostly energy-efficient light bulbs to save on my utility bills. My father was in HVAC and taught me how an AC unit works.
What made you join CMC?
I wanted to join CMC because I liked the idea of working in customer homes to help save them money and create a more comfortable environment. Also, the lack of women in this field made me want to join even more.
What do you like about the work that you do at CMC?
What I enjoy most about my job is the environment. I have great relationships with both office and field employees as I was a field tech myself for almost six years. The way we can all communicate and have a good time while working makes the days much better.
What do you do for fun? Do you have any hidden talents or interests?
I’m a mom, so a lot of my time is dedicated to spending time and playing with my two daughters. I enjoy crafts as a hobby, and I make custom crafts and gifts such as t-shirts, shadow boxes, banners and cake toppers using my Cricut machine.
Do you have any plans for the next few months, summer vacations, etc?
I plan to take some weekend trips with my family and look forward to a vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC, in September.
