CMC Energy Services was out in full force at the Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance/New Jersey Energy Efficiency Alliance (KEEA/NJ-EEA) meeting at the Philadelphia Navy Yard in May. The two-day event—the first in more than two years—featured more than 160 participants, 30 speakers, 20 sponsors, including CMC, seven panels and forums, and two keynote speeches.

CMC’s Mike Newman, director of Outreach and a KEEA board member, served as a moderator for the panel on workforce development.

Equally important, the event was an opportunity for CMC to connect with its customers and to make new contacts. Jodi Homa, program manager, enjoyed the chance to meet representatives from some of the New Jersey utilities she works with.

“For the last two years, we’ve had very limited opportunities to directly interact with the utilities we support, so I was very excited to finally meet some of the people I’ve only seen on Zoom meetings,” said Homa, who joined CMC roughly 10 months ago. “In addition, sponsorships like this give CMC a chance to talk with other utilities to gauge how satisfied they are with their current service providers and to explore areas where CMC might work with them in the future.”
