CMC is proud to be nominated as a finalist, along with several other outstanding candidates, by the Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC) for its Innovating Remote Work & Technology Solutions Award.

NECEC’s Clean Energy Back to Work Challenge invites businesses and organizations to nominate their best practices, pilots, innovations and model projects to be considered for awards in specific categories. This year, finalists were selected from twenty-two nominees in the following categories: Customer Acquisition Award, Innovating Remote Work & Technology Solutions Award, On-Premises Project Construction & Installation Award, Greenhouse Gas Reduction & Public Health Mitigation Award and Community Engagement During the Pandemic Crisis Award.

The winner will be selected at NECEC’s Clean Energy Back to Work Challenge Awards that will be held virtually on November 12. The event offers attendees the opportunity to learn from the finalists and winners about their efforts to adapt how they are working during the pandemic, network in virtual breakout rooms with colleagues and friends and celebrate clean energy back to work progress. Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick will keynote the event.

“We are honored to be considered for the 2020 Innovating Remote Work and Technology Solutions Award,” said Joe Roy, Senior Program Manager in CMC’s Connecticut location. “No one anticipated COVID or the impact that it would have. It has taken flexibility, innovation and resilience to expand our business to include virtual offerings – and required a tremendous collaboration amongst our partners and vendors to make it happen and be successful. We’re happy that our efforts are being recognized and that the team’s hard work is not going unnoticed.”

NECEC is the premier voice of businesses building a world-class clean energy hub in the Northeast, helping clean energy companies start, scale, and succeed with our unique business, innovation, and policy leadership.
