CMC was recognized as a Top Workplaces USA 2021 employer by Energage, an organization that develops solutions to build and brand top workplaces. This is the inaugural year for the Top Workplaces USA recognition, an extension of Energage’s program that works with regional media to award top employers.
Although this is the third year CMC was recognized as a Top Workplace, the previous two selections were presented by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly.com, both of which are owned by Philadelphia Media Network. This honor also comes on the heels of CMC’s Connecticut office being selected for the same honor in 2020 by Hearst Media in CT.
CMC also received a second honor this year by Energage, being awarded the Top Workplace for Innovation Culture Excellence Award. This award is part of Top Workplaces’ new National Industry and Culture Excellence Awards, which have expanded its annual awards to offer quarterly recognitions in specific industry and culture categories such as Top Workplaces for Innovation, Top Leaders, Communication and Clued-In Leadership. The Innovation Award recognizes companies, like CMC, that strive for continuous improvement and encourage new ideas throughout the organization.

The Top Workplaces designation is a highly coveted honor because selection for the list is based solely on employee feedback surveys. Workplaces are evaluated by their employees using rigorous, data-driven collection methods. The focus of the survey is on key factors including workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behavior that drives organizational success.
