Blake Cole

Responsible for quality assurance and customer service for all programs administered by CMC’s Massachusetts operation, Blake found his passion for energy conservation after beginning his career as a homebuilder. Blake currently holds his QA Designee status under RESNET guidelines and has been instrumental in the Massachusetts/Rhode Island operational start up to provide Quality Assurance on MassSave/Energy-Wise programs for residential and commercial clients.

Blake has served as the regional quality assurance manager with CMC Energy Services since 2015 when his former company, Competitive Resources Inc. (CRI), was acquired by CMC. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of quality assurance, including residential and commercial energy efficiency projects. Blake also assists in facility operations, including budgeting, selecting office vendors, and accounting.

Before joining CMC, Blake worked at CRI for more than 23 years in roles with increasing responsibilities, including Northeast Regional manager, branch manager and field supervisor. He was responsible for all programs operated from the company’s Connecticut and Massachusetts offices, including oversight of all projects, key personnel management, budgeting, tracking and reporting, customer service, quality assurance, invoicing, accounting, client relations, and facilities. He also worked as an energy services specialist and conducted more than 1,800 blower door- assisted weatherization projects.

Blake has a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and is a certified home energy rater supervisor by the Northeast HERS Alliance. In his spare time, Blake enjoys creative cooking, landscaping, DYI projects and basically anything outdoors.
