CMC’s top priority is ensuring that our customers, employees, their families, and our communities stay healthy and safe during COVID-19. We recently emailed all CMC team members the COVID-19 Safe Work Playbook to be used as a guide for returning to work and servicing customers. It is an integral component to our preparations and readiness.
CMC’s Playbook highlights workplace protocols put in place regarding pre-return to work trainings, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines and more. It’s imperative to understand and adhere to the procedures outlined in the Safe Work Playbook.
This Playbook reflects guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and should be used as a practical guide to keep you healthy and safe. Additionally, we have included state, local and utility guidance in the Playbook.
“The creation of our Safe Work Playbook is a crucial step to helping us get back to work while preventing the transmission and spread of COVID-19,” said Tina Baldt, CMC’s HR Manager.
“As information regarding COVID-19 continues to evolve and change, the Playbook will be updated to reflect these changes,” she continued. “Safety is everyone’s responsibility and will take everyone’s commitment. We ask that everyone take the time to review the playbook and complete the associated trainings to ensure that we maintain a safe work environment – both in the office and in the field.”
The release of the Playbook is an exciting step that shows CMC readiness to safely enter homes and businesses again and provide vital energy-efficiency services that curb costs for those struggling during these uncertain times.
