Home Weatherization
Free, fast, and easy: for income-qualified customers, a great way to improve your home’s energy efficiency, safety, and comfort.
- Energy efficiency assessment of your home by a certified energy efficiency professional—focusing on ways to lower your energy costs.
- Complimentary energy-saving products including LED lightbulbs, efficient-flow showerheads, and energy-smart thermostats and power strips.
- Additional improvements, depending on your home’s needs, that may include air sealing, ductwork repair, and insulation upgrades—valued at up to $7,500.

- For PSE&G residential electric or gas customers. Renters may require their landlord’s approval.
- Program eligibility is based on your household income. If you’re unsure if you qualify, call us to find out.

Quick Home Energy Check-up
Expert advice to take the hassle out of energy efficiency: we’ll find the little things all around your home that can add up to some big savings.
- Energy efficiency assessment of your home (in-person or remote) by a certified energy efficiency professional—focusing on insulation levels, heating and cooling systems, windows, doors, lighting, and appliances.
- Low or no-cost energy-saving products, including LED lightbulbs, faucet aerators, and a smart thermostat, installed for you (with your permission).
- Customized report with energy-saving recommendations tailored to meet the needs of your home.

- For PSE&G residential electric or gas customers. One Quick Home Energy Check-up per residence, per year.
- Assessments take about one hour to complete.

New Jersey Comfort Partners
It’s easy to spend more than you need to on your home energy bills. For income-eligible customers, Comfort Partners is a statewide program offering free energy efficiency products and services.
- Free installation of cost-effective energy efficiency measures, such as added insulation, caulking, energy-saving showerheads, and light bulbs.
- Comprehensive, personalized energy-saving recommendations and education.
Key Details
- More than 120,000 families served since the program was launched in 2001.
- For individually metered residential customers. Participating utilities: Atlantic City Electric, Elizabethtown Gas, PSE&G, South Jersey Gas, New Jersey Natural Gas, Jersey Central Power & Light.
- Program eligibility is based on your household income. If you’re unsure if you qualify, call us to find out.
