Prior to joining CMC, what did you know of energy efficiency or the industry?

I knew about energy efficiency but on a smaller scale. It wasn’t until I joined CMC that I realized how big the industry is and the importance it plays on our lives and those around us.

What made you join CMC?

I was already working with my hands as a carpenter’s apprentice, so by joining CMC I could continue doing that while also being able to meet interesting people wherever I go and helping them in the process. But mostly, I like that every day comes with its own challenges, which is important for career development.

What do you like about the work that you do at CMC?

Apart from helping customers save on their utility bills and making them comfortable in their own home, I love that everyday I’m somewhere new, the field is my office. But I get the most enjoyment from the customers; they make this work so enjoyable. It’s rewarding at the end of the day when you were able to find the root problem for a customer and they genuinely appreciate the effort and help you gave them. Seeing that smile at the end of the day is what keeps me going.

What do you do for fun? Do you have any hidden talents or interests?

I just love relaxing and spending time with my wife. I just started playing golf as my new sport of interest. One of the biggest interests I have is learning different cultures and their food and trying to taste the many different foods that are out there.

Summer is here, and now that states are opening back up, what are you looking forward to?

As the world opens up slowly, I look forward to rescheduling some trips I had to cancel. I love traveling to different vacation spots and also taking road trips, and eating and drinking at these new locations.
