Give a warm CMC hello to Customer Care Representative III, Michele MacDonald. Michele works in Massachusetts and has been with CMC for seven years. During her time here, Michele has grown in her role to become a customer care expert, frequently recommended by her peers as the go-to person for information and collaboration.
Can you provide me with some quick background about yourself? Where were you born or raised? Any education/degrees/certs? Favorite sport, team, hobby or activity, if you have one.
I was born and raised in Connecticut, and every baseball season you can find me rooting for my favorite team, the New York Yankees.
Before joining CMC, what did you know of energy efficiency or the industry?
I first joined the industry with Competitive Resources. At the time, I did not have much knowledge about energy efficiency, but saw the benefits of being energy efficient, recycling and had an interest in bettering our environment.
What made you join CMC?
I was interested in the energy efficiency industry and wanted to learn more about it. Also, the working environment and flexibility were key to my continued success here.
What do you like about the work that you do at CMC?
I really enjoy helping the people participating in our programs by giving them helpful hints and best practices to make their homes more energy-efficient.
What do you do for fun? Do you have any hidden talents or interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I am a huge advocate for animal health and wellness and frequently donate to local and national organizations. When time allows, I like to volunteer at my local animal shelter.
Do you have any plans for the winter?
I am not much of a fan of the winters which can be harsh in Massachusetts. I am, however, looking forward to spring and summer when I can start hiking again and going on walks.
