Andre Edwards, Customer Care Supervisor, has been with CMC since March 2020 working in the Chicago, IL office. Andre, father of twins, is a military veteran, born and raised in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. With more than 20 years of management experience in customer service and retail, Andre has made people development, customer satisfaction, and meeting performance goals the cornerstone of his career. Andre was a standout high school and collegiate basketball player — his favorite sports team is the Chicago Bears, and his favorite movie is Star Wars. When he isn’t at work, Andre enjoys league bowling.
Prior to joining CMC, what did you know of energy efficiency or the industry?
Andre: I had very little knowledge of energy efficiency or the Energy Industry. I am very happy to know that customer have options that will help reduce their energy usage.
What made you join CMC?
A: Well I was looking for a home in the call center arena, came across the posting, and I was intrigued and wanted to know more. After probing the CMC Website, and learning more about the Values and Behavior the company was founded on, I knew then I wanted to join CMC.
What do you like about the work that you do at CMC?
A: I love the fact that we exist to help others. There is no greater feeling then to help someone in a time of need. I have the best job! I get to help my employees be the best that they can be to help and assist others. I do not call that work.
What do you do for fun?
A: I love people, so I hangout a lot with friends. Traveling is my passion. I bowl in several leagues.
How are you keeping busy during our “stay at home” period?
A: Well, I have been in the office since, June 8, 2020. Keeping busy is easy when helping others.
