This month our employee spotlight shines on Alejandro Lucero, Field Technician IV, working out of our Connecticut office. Alejandro is a lifetime Connecticut native who is motivated by working to achieve a sustainable future, something he deeply believes in.
Can you provide me with some quick background about yourself? Where were you born or raised? Any education/degrees/certs? Favorite sport, team, hobby, or activity, if you have one.
I was raised in East Haven, Connecticut. After graduating high school, I attended Lincoln Technical Institute and graduated with an Electrical and Renewable Energy Technology diploma. My favorite sport is soccer, I enjoy playing and watching it.
Prior to joining CMC, what did you know of energy efficiency or the industry?
Prior to joining CMC, I knew very little about energy efficiency, and learning about the industry was one of my motivations for joining CMC. I wanted to know more about this industry and help reduce energy usage for a more sustainable future.
What made you join CMC?
I joined CMC because I believed in CMC’s commitment to environmental sustainability while providing beneficial energy reduction services for our planet.
What do you like about the work that you do at CMC?
I like the way we all work together at CMC. The work we do makes a difference in people’s lives making their homes more comfortable while helping them save some money.
What do you do for fun? Do you have any hidden talents or interests? I like playing soccer, spending time with my family and playing video games.
Do you have any plans for the holiday/winter?
My plans for the holidays are spending time with my family and taking advantage of the time off to do some winter activities.
