On February 25, Blaine Fox, Senior Director of Business Development, presented about heat pumps and beneficial electrification to a class of graduate students at Northwestern University. The students are part of the Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability program and the presentation was part of the group’s Electrify Everything class.
Blaine discussed the ComEd Cold Weather Ductless Heat Pump Pilot program, including the pilot’s design and purpose, the customer experience, data collection and reporting and lessons learned. “I was happy to be invited by Northwestern to give the talk about all the great work that CMC does. The students were super engaged, and it was a productive conversation,” Fox said.
Students in the Energy and Sustainability program have experience and interest in fields like oil and gas, technology and communications, solar development, supply chain, environmental consulting and more.
