Three of CMC leaders, Blaine Fox, Tom McAteer and Kate Harron, presented at AESP’s (Association of Energy Service Professionals) first virtual conference held September 1-3.

AESP’s multi-day event didn’t allow COVID-19 to stop it from hosting a full agenda of knowledgeable speakers for its 30th annual event. The conference’s theme was “Fueling the Energy to Change” and offered learning and networking opportunities for professionals in the energy industry.

CMC’s Tom McAteer, Senior Program Manager, presented “For the Health of It: Adding Health and Safety Measures to Energy Audits Benefits” on September 1. Blaine Fox, Senior Director, Business Development presented on September 2 on “Out in the Cold? Ductless Heat Pump Pilot Examines Performance in Income Qualified Multifamily Apartments.” Kate Harron’s session, “It Takes a Village: A Community Approach to Energy Efficiency” was available to registrants throughout the conference as part of the on-demand bonus session pack.

Throughout the conference, AESP offered a robust schedule featuring 10 sessions with 4 tracks each, covering important topics such as decarbonization goals, DERS, energy equity, EVs, DR and storage, IDSM, Pay for Performance, evaluating electrification programs, COVID-19 best practices, non-energy impacts, cost effectiveness and more.
