Ms. Iklé-Khalsa offers a vast knowledge of energy-related business practices after a lifetime of learning from and working with her mother, CMC Energy Services founder Doris Iklé. Working closely with the president, Ms. Iklé-Khalsa provides strategic leadership and direction for the company, ensuring that CMC’s mission and values are followed and practiced. She also advises the president on leadership and management issues, guides the company’s new business development and marketing strategies and liaises between the company’s executives and the board of directors. In her role as past president of CMC Energy Services (2010 through March 2018), Ms. McGinnis oversaw the expansion of the company through a period of high growth. During her first five years with the company, CMC more than doubled in size while maintaining its ability to deliver high-quality service. Ms. McGinnis provided strategic direction to the company’s business development, client relations and contract delivery functions.
Ms. McGinnis has held top policy, regulatory and management positions in state and federal governments for more than two decades, serving as Chief of Staff to the Christie Whitman at the United States Environmental Protection Agency and Chief of Policy under NJ Governor Christine Todd Whitman. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and has completed Wharton’s Program for Working Professionals.
