New Jersey Home Performance with Energy Star Program:

The New Jersey Home Performance with Energy Star Program will be expanding its reach with a new sales tool, CMC’s persuasive Home Tune-uP Report. Targeting the 70,000 existing homes in New Jersey sold each year that are over 7 years old, this program offers a free one-stop audit and seal-up service that no homebuyer can refuse. Following the seal-up and safety check, the homebuyer will receive the Home Tune-uP Report which lists the group of energy efficiency improvements in the home that can be purchased with no money down, and monthly payments that are smaller than the money saved on the energy bills. With the Home Performance financing and special subsidies, older homes can be upgraded to today’s standards at no cost to the owner. Furthermore there is NO CHARGE for the audit nor for the seal-up.

CMC is now looking for 30 Home Tune-uP auditors that want to join the Home Performance with Energy Star Program in New Jersey.
To be part of this new Program apply now. Requirements for the auditors include passing the BPI Envelope and the Building Analyst Professional tests. CMC will be giving courses for both. Our first BPI certification class for Building Analyst is on October 19th & 20th. The date for the Envelope Specialist class will be announced in the very near future.

Looking for Seal-up technicians. We anticipate a crew of 2 to visit each house, an auditor and a seal-up technician. Thus we plan to have a 2 day training class for the seal-up technicians on October 22nd & 23rd. The seal-up technician will be under the supervision of the auditor and will be equipped with a blower door, an infra-red thermometer, and all other required instrumentation.
