CMC Energy Services is among the top workplaces in Greater Philadelphia, according to The 2019 Top Workplaces list, published by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

CMC joins other top-performing companies in the region that were recognized for their stand-out cultures and exemplary employee benefits.

“Becoming a Top Workplace is an incredible achievement,” said Mimi Iklé-Khalsa, chair of CMC’s Board of Directors. “I just want to thank the employees and leadership team who make CMC the great company we’ve always known it to be.

Now in its 10th year, the Top Workplaces designation is a coveted honor for companies throughout the country. Selection for the list is based solely on employee feedback surveys. The listing considers companies with more than 50 employees, across the public, private, nonprofit and governmental sectors.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Energage CEO Doug Claffey. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

Last year, nearly 200 organizations participated in the Philadelphia region survey and more than 36,000 people responded to the questionnaires. Energage, an employee research and consulting firm, performs the survey, calculates the results and determines the winners.

“This honor will inspire us to continue improving as an employer,” said Iklé-Khalsa.
